Across the United States on February 26th, 2010, Bruce
Willis' new hit movie Cop Out hit the big screens. Bruce
Willis working along with director Kevin Smith and other big
actors such as Sean William Scott and Tracy Morgan work
together to create a hilarious comedy written by Robb and
Mark Cullen.
The movie starts with a Veteran NYPD cop named Jimmy Monroe
(Bruce Willis) who has been robbed of something very
precious to him, a rare baseball card. As this card was the
only way by which he had thought of paying for his
daughter's wedding he is now pushed into finding the thief
but for doing this he will need some help. He ties up with
his partner Paul Hodges (Tracy Morgan) to track down a thief
who is obsessed with memorabilia.
Another issue Jimmy is faced with is his ex-wife's new
husband - played by Jason Lee - offers to pay for the
wedding in full. Having refused his charity the wedding day
inch's closer and closer as he tries to find the thief in
time to save the day.
Seann William Scott plays Dave, who is the gang member
guilty of stealing Jimmy's baseball card. By this time, Dave
has also stolen Paul's favorite gun. Dave is eventually
arrested by Jimmy and Paul during another robbery attempt.
Unfortunately, Dave tells the officers that the card was
already sold to a dealer. Jimmy and Paul make contact with
said dealer, who is named Poh Boy (Guillermo Diaz). Poh
Boy's stipulation is this: the card will be returned if
Jimmy and Paul retrieve a stolen car.
What follows is a sequence of action that keeps viewers
laughing for the remainder of the movie. Additional stars
featured in Cop Out include Ana de la Reguera as a woman
named Gabriele who was married to a drug lord; Adam Brody as
a character named Barry Mangold; and Fred Armisen playing a
Russian lawyer;.
