U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Office of Financial Management (OFM) based in Jakarta is recruiting Indonesian Nationals for the position of ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK (Post Code: OFM). Salary starts from Rp.4,701,094 per month depending on qualifications, experience and salary history.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The position is under the supervision of and receives guidance from the Chief Voucher Examiner and Mission Controller. The incumbent’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: creating electronic invoicing documents in Phoenix (momentum) system; archiving invoice/ voucher files in the Agency Secure Image and Storage Tracking (ASIST) system and in the hard copy filing system; managing the Payment Log In and Tracking System (PLIT); ensuring invoices submitted to OFM are complete, valid, proper, adequately supported, and in accordance with USG Prompt Payment Act and other relevant regulation; returning all invalid, unsupported and improper invoices/vouchers to vendors/suppliers, and ensuring all proper invoices and payment documents are routed to the Program Manager immediately upon receipt and returned to OFM. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring the flow of payment documentation to ensure that all payment documents are paid within 30 days, in accordance with Prompt Pay Act and other relevant regulations; notifying internal and external customers of payment or completion of payment process in writing; responding to inquiries regarding payment; and sending all original transportation (Shipping Company) invoices/vouchers on monthly basis.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. A minimum of college degree in accounting, budgeting or management as well as formal training in relevant secretarial skills.
2. At least three years of experience in administration including experience in the operation of standard office machines, i.e. copier, fax, scanner and computer.
3. Level III (Good working knowledge) speaking/reading/ writing both in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
In addition to the above criteria relating to education, experience and language proficiency, the following criteria will also be used to evaluate applicants:
1. Must have good working knowledge of filing systems and Records management.
2. Must have excellent skills in using computer applications, word processing, typing and all office equipment.
3. Incumbent must have the ability to establish priorities, organize a large and varied workload in an efficient and timely fashion, and develop procedures for the successful implementation of work assignment. Good inter-personal skills are essential.

The post holder will assist the Marketing & Communications Manager in the the planning and delivery of the corporate marketing and communications strategy for the British Council Indonesia, in line with the country plan and will provide high quality communications and marketing services to internal customers in the following areas:
- Online media and social networking management
- Media relations management, and delivery of operational communications plan
- Internal communications and knowledge sharing
- Business relations and brand management
This position is offered for a fixed period of 1 year initial contract (renewable)

Key duties of this post include:
- Management and delivery of British Council’s online and social media engagement
- Identification and development of relationship and partnership with media / press
