General Manager Residential – Jakarta Jobs

Our Client is a property investment and development company, establitsed in 1975. At present, the Company owns and operates an impressive portfolio of premier hotels, commercial properties (office buildings, rental apartments & townhouses, and retail centers), residential properties (strata-title apartments and landed residential), as well as strategically located landholdings in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bali, Surabaya, Balikpapan and several other cities in Indonesia. Our client is now seeking qualified candidate to fullfil the position of :

General Manager Residential – Jakarta
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site engineering and operations issues, achieving established financial and operational objectives and leading a large team including tenant relation, administrative, accounting, housekeeping, security and engineering/maintenance personnel.

Requirements
- Maximum age of 45 years old.
- Degree in Engineering or strong engineering background is preferable.
- Bachelor Degree majoring in civil and planning/ architecture/ construction management, MBA degree is a plus
- Minimum 15 – 20 years related working experience in housing and commercial building developer
- Proven track record to execute the projects, on behalf of the company to coordinate with owner in technical and whole operation matters
- Strong leadership, a dynamic team player, having sense of responsibility & urgency, able to work under pressure, charismatic, manage cultural cross, resourceful
- Analytical skills, rigorous, well organized and ability to manage projects.
- Good managing people skill and good Leadership
- Excellent command of English and some proficiency in Mandarin is required.
- Strong experience in team building and leadership roles is a must.

A. Office Manager
He/She will be responsible for Office Management for the entire office (presently between 10 and 15 people), supported by one admin assistant, including undertaking, overall daily office management, human resources functions, some client relations, and ensuring the company's compliance with prevailing labour and corporate regulations. Qualifications needed are :

- Indonesian national
- Bachelors Degree (S1) in Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related subject
- Minimum 3 years work experience as an Office Manager, preferably in a recognized consulting firm or other relevant private sector company
- Excellent office management skills
- Excellent human resources skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and in Indonesian
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and work independently
- Strong computer skills
- Willingness to travel in Indonesia and within Asia including having a valid passport
- Must have supervised staff before
- Can-do personality

B. Accounting Manager

He/She will be responsible for managing all finance and account related functions in the office supported by one admin/finance assistant. He/she will have full understanding of staff payments, tax deductions, bonus calculations etc as well as all financially related prevailing corporate regulations. Qualifications needed are:

- Indonesian national
- Bachelors Degree (S1) in Accounting Management,
- Minimum 3 years work experience as Accounting Manager or accounts officer, preferably in a recognized consulting firm or other relevant private sector company
- Excellent computer-based accounting skills and use of a recognized financial accounting package
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and in Indonesian
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and work independentl
- Strong computer skills
- Willingness to travel in Indonesia and within Asia including having a valid passport
- Must have supervised staff before
- Can-do personality
- Totally honest

C. Research Officer on Economics and Policy

He/She will be responsible for sourcing raw data and contributing to analysis of much of the company's economic policy work, drafting and editing of relevant articles, chapters, monographs, books etc, as well as working closely with clients such as the Indonesian Government, donors and other policy specialists. He/She must have experience in quantitative skills. Qualifications needed are :

- Indonesian national
- Masters Degree (S2) in Economics from a well respected University
- Minimum 7 years work experience in similar position
- Close familiarity with Indonesian economic development and policy issues
- Good donor knowledge with good donor contacts
- Excellentpresentation and negotiation skills with ability to craft logical arguments and deliver them convincingly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and in Indonesian
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and work independently
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of IT related management
- Willingness to travel in Indonesia and within Asia including having a valid passport
- Must have supervised staff before
